Reading Plan Just as athletes work on the fundamentals to get better, we will work on the fundamentals of reading to get better. We will strive to read a minimum of 2 books a month (one fiction and one nonfiction--from the Who Was? series) We will become aware of our Lexile level on our MAP tests & strive to challenge ourselves with our book selections. *We do not include books that have been made into movies into that list. They may still be read for AR points and the AR point clubs. **Tests will be taken in the classroom only. ***Fiction tests require 80% or better to pass. ****Nonfiction books may be used while testing (a five-minute time period) and require a 70% or better to pass.
